Send inventory to fulfillment centers
Create an inventory shipment on our platform and ensure your products are properly sent to our fulfillment centers to begin optimizing your logistics.
Important: Before sending your physical inventory to the fulfillment center, ensure you follow these steps and register a digital inventory shipment on our platform. Otherwise, the fulfillment center will be unable to identify and receive your products.
Additionally, ensure that your main store is set up correctly. The platform will use this store's products, and only these can be sent in the digital inventory shipment. You can change your main store at any time by following these steps.
To get started, log in to your Envia Fulfillment account. From the main menu, go to Inventory Shipments > Send Inventory, or simply click here.
1. Choose your fulfillment center
- In the first dropdown menu, choose the country where the fulfillment center is located.
- In the second dropdown menu, select the fulfillment center to which you will send your products.
- Click Next.
2. Select your products
Manual method
- In the first column of the table, check the boxes next to the products you wish to send.
- In the Product Quantity column, specify the quantity to be sent.
- If your products are managed by batch or expiration date, add the corresponding batches following these steps (optional).
- Click Next.
Bulk method
- Click the Export CSV button. An Excel file named “ProductsToSend” containing detailed information about all your products will be downloaded.
- In the Excel file, delete rows with products you do not wish to send, leaving only those you will send.
- In Column D, enter the barcode of each product.
- If your products are batched or have expiration dates, enter the corresponding batch in column E. Follow these steps to add batches to your products (optional).
- In column F, indicate the quantity of units to be sent.
- In column G, specify the box/pallet number where your products will be placed. If you do not set box/pallet numbers, the system will assume everything will be sent in a single box/pallet.
- Save the file and return to the platform. Click on the Import CSV button and upload the file in .csv format.
- Click Next.
3. Specify how your inventory will arrive
- Choose whether you will use boxes or pallets to ship your inventory.
- Select the quantity of boxes or pallets you will use.
- Click Next.
Important: The “box” option considers a complete unit, regardless of its dimensions or weight, and can be any type of packaging, such as cardboard boxes, plastic, or containers. On the other hand, the “pallet” option is managed as a less-than-truckload (LTL) shipment, so it is not necessary to specify the quantity of boxes on the pallet.
4. Assign products by boxes or pallets
If you are using more than one box/pallet, you will need to assign the products to each box/pallet according to your needs. If you are using only one box/pallet, you can skip to Step 5.
- In the first column of the table, check the boxes next to the products you want to assign to a box/pallet and click the Assign Products to Box button.
- From the dropdown menu, select the box/pallet to which you want to assign the products.
- Enter the quantity of products you will place inside that box/pallet. You can distribute the total quantity among multiple boxes.
- Click Confirm.
- Repeat steps 1-4 until all products are assigned to a box/pallet.
- Click Next.
5. Review and submit order
- Check that the shipping details are correct.
- If your products do not have barcodes, click Print SKU and print them to avoid additional costs in inventory reception. If your products already have barcodes, you can skip to Step 6.
- Select the products for which you want to print labels and set the quantity of labels to print. Then, click Print.
- Configure the printing settings (orientation, code type, format, and size) and click Print PDF.
- A PDF file named “products_sku” will be downloaded. Print the file and place the labels on their corresponding products.
- Once you have completed the steps, select your preferred shipping method: with envia.com or without envia.com.
Shipping with envia.com
- Click the Ship with Envia button.
- Select the origin address and provide the necessary information for your shipment. Once finished, click on Create Shipping with Envia.
- Choose the courier service you prefer to send your package and click Generate > Confirm.
Shipping without envia.com
- Click the Ship without Envia button and then click Confirm.
- A confirmation window for your inventory shipment will open. Click Open PDF to print the inventory shipment sheet. This sheet should be affixed to the boxes/pallets you are about to send.
Important notes
- Only send individual SKUs. You can add your kits once your inventory has been received.
- If you sell the same products in another store, you can link your SKUs after your inventory has been sent.
- If you sell on Mercado Libre, you can associate multiple posts of the same product with a single SKU.
- No need to submit a digital inventory shipment for packaging materials; simply include them in any box/pallet.
Done! You have successfully completed a digital inventory shipment on our platform. The next step is to send your physical inventory to our fulfillment centers, following the established guidelines.
